ISC-PIF CommitteesThe ISC-PIF is administered by a Governing Board, headed by a director, himself assisted by a Steering Committee, and advised by a Scientific Board. The complementarity of the scientists involved in these committees is the first achievement of the ISC-PIF - they represent a panel of international eminent scientists who meets the requirement of inter-disciplinary science of complex systems.
Scientific BoardIts mission is to advise the Director and the Steering Committee in their scientific actions. With the kind contribution of international researchers who form the Scientific Council, the scientific policy of the Institute is constantly refocuses on the most relevant and contemporary issues of the community of complex systems.The members of the Scientific Council are: President : Sheung Tsun Tsou - Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, UK
Steering CommitteeThe Director of the GIS (Rene Doursat to date) is appointed by the Governing Board. He is assisted by two co-directors (Arnaud Banos and David Chavalarias) and the Steering Committee whose members are appointed by the Governing Board on recommendation from the Director.The members of the Steering Committee are:

Role of the Governing Board: The Board appoints and dismisses the director of GIS, appoints members of the Steering Committee upon proposal of the Director of GIS, appoints members of the Scientific Board on the proposal of Director of GIS, and adopts the activity program of the GIS on the proposal of Director of GIS; vote the estimates of revenue and expenditure of GIS which includes, first, the likely costs and other related resources detailed by funding agency; adopt the financial report and annual scientific activity prepared by the Director of GIS, resolves the amendments to this Convention, the latter being detected by riders, resolves the entry of a new partner within the GIS ; provides procedures for evaluating the results of the activities of the ISG, before any decision on its possible extension.
