Complex Systems Summer School Coordinator – Santa Fe Institute

The Santa Fee institute is looking for an alumni who is interested in being the Santa Fe Institute Complex Systems Summer School Project Coordinator for the 2016 CSSS running from June 12 – July 8, 2016. As part of this position we will provide room and board at St. John’s College, travel reimbursement, and a modest honorarium.

The Complex Systems Summer School offers an intensive four week introduction to complex behavior in mathematical, physical, living, and social systems for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and professionals in the sciences and social sciences. The school is for participants who seek background and hands-on experience to help them prepare to conduct interdisciplinary research in areas related to complex systems.

It is expected that the project coordinator will be on site the CSSS during the entire program to assist participants with projects. We would like someone who has a varied skill set which includes: familiarity with programming in multiple languages, computationally strong, has experience working in multi-disciplinary groups, familiarity with SFI science, and feels comfortable aiding project groups in their generative process.
