We expect the opening of a Full Professor position at the Theoretical Physics and Modelisation Laboratory (LPTM), Physics Department, University Cergy Pontoise (UCP), France.
The position is expected to be endowed with a 2/3 teaching-duties exemption for 3 years (yielding the teaching duties to 64 hrs instead of 192 hrs), backed by the parallel opening by UCP of a junior Tenure Track-type position in Theoretical Physics.

LPTM is a jointly supervised CNRS-Université Cergy Pontoise research entity within the Physics Department, Faculty of Science and Techniques, UCP. Research collaborations involve more than 80 laboratories or departments of Physics, Mathematical Sciences and Computer Sciences throughout the world.
We are looking for outstanding candidates with a profile primarily in Complex Systems, Computational Neurosciences, Soft Matter ; and/or Probabilities, Stochastic dynamics and Integrable Systems. Strong international implication in UCP and LPTM international training/research activities expected.
Note that application to a French Professor position is subject to getting the “Qualification” assessment from French academic institution, in case of absence of such qualification for outstanding candidates there is the possibility of obtaining locally such qualification.
