About Véronique Thomas-Vaslin
PhD in Immunology at University Pierre et Marie Curie, researcher at CNRS, I have founded and directed the Integrative Immunology: Differentiation, Diversity, Dynamics team. As a member of “Réseau National des Systèmes Complexes” I have founded the ImmunoComplexiT network and I am in the steering committee of Institut des Systèmes Complexes -Paris Ile-de-France.
My research focuses on lymphocyte population dynamics, diversity, selection of repertoires, studying the physiology of the immune system from development to aging, and the control of immune responses in health and diseases.
My current research focuses on understanding the immune system as a complex ecosystem, responding to perturbations and aging. Mathematical and computational approaches are developed to model the multi-scale dynamics of T cells, from their generation in thymus to the control of immune responses.
