Governments and funding agencies are greedy of indicators based on scientific production to measure science output. But what exactly do we know about the relation between publication levels and advances in science ? How do social dynamics and norms interfere with the quality of the scientific production ? Are there different regimes of scientific dynamics ? The present study proposes some concepts to think about scientific dynamics, through the modeling of the relation between science policies and scholars&#8217; exploration-exploitation dilemmas. Les gouvernements et les organismes de financement sont avides d&#8217;indicateurs bas\u00e9s sur la production scientifique pour mesurer la production scientifique. Mais que savons-nous exactement de la relation entre le niveau de publication et les progr\u00e8s de la science ? Comment les dynamiques et les normes sociales interf\u00e8rent-elles avec la qualit\u00e9 de la production scientifique ? Existe-t-il diff\u00e9rents r\u00e9gimes de dynamique scientifique ? La pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude propose quelques concepts pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 la dynamique scientifique, \u00e0 travers la mod\u00e9lisation de la relation entre les politiques scientifiques et les dilemmes d&#8217;exploration-exploitation des chercheurs. Au passage, nous analysons en d\u00e9tail les effets de la politique &#8220;publier ou p\u00e9rir&#8221;, qui s&#8217;av\u00e8re n&#8217;avoir aucun effet significatif sur les d\u00e9veloppements des domaines scientifiques \u00e9mergents, tout en ayant des impacts n\u00e9gatifs sur la qualit\u00e9 de la production des domaines matures.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<style
