Les stalagmèmes reflètent la structure des débats en ligne sur le changement climatique. Elles ont toutes une morphologie différente qui est restituée ici. Cette morphologie caractérise les débats qui leur sont associés : vifs, latents, persistents, récurrents, buissonnants, en désuétude, etc.

Chacun des nœuds d’une phylomémie (les petits carrés de couleur sur les images) correspond à un thème abordé sur Twitter et le web. Il a été qui a été identifié par reconstruction phylomémétique et est caractérisé par un ensemble de termes (ex : costal flooding, irrigation, seed, monsoon, arid region, grounwater ressources). Les stalagmèmes poussent par rameau. Lorque les termes qui constituent l’extrémité de l’un d’eux sont mentionnés sur le réseau social Twitter, un nouveau rameau peu croître, laissant apparaître une nouvelle extrémité qui peut contenir de nouveaux termes si le débat s’est déplacé. Ainsi, les stalagmèmes croissent en temps réel en fonctions de l’intensité et la diversité des discussions en ligne sur différents thèmes du changement climatique.
