Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne

January 25 and 26, 2024

We are happy to announce that the call for the Ph.D. Workshop in Networks and Political Economy @ University Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne is out.

The workshop is organized by Ph.D. candidates of Paris 1, with the help and support of the Young Scholars Initiative (INET – YSI).

The conference will focus on topics of political economy. In particular, we hope to see papers that employ methodologies of network analysis, machine learning, text analysis, applied economics, behavioral economics, spatial econometrics, and complexity, but everyone is welcome to apply.

The workshop provides a unique opportunity for researchers to discuss their projects. Members from the faculty of Paris 1 and potentially external scholars from other Paris universities will offer their feedback as discussants for participants’ presentations.

We are happy to announce that the workshop will host four exceptional academics as keynote speakers: David Chavalarias (EHESS), Alan Kirman (EHESS), Maria Petrova (UPF), and Ekaterina Zhuravskaya (PSE).
