Knowledge — its production, its documentation, and its continual updating — is a dynamic and collective venture. Pieces of knowledge that are produced independently may eventually tightly relate to one another, contradict each other, weaken each other, nuance, specify, circumscribe each other, put each other into perspective… The MMM datamodel has been designed to emphasise such epistemic relations between pieces of knowledge. We meet to discuss MMM based software interfaces and to brainstorm on questions like the following: using graph theoretic properties of the network of MMM formatted knowledge, what formal metrics can be defined to gain an understanding of the global properties of our networked knowledge? How can we learn to ethically manage co-existing worldviews and build safe, rigorous epistemic bridges across them? Can we define metrics to gain foresight of the evolution of epistemic trends and scientific paradigms?
