This mini-workshop will look at interactions as elements that shape space in societies. Invited talks by Barbara Mills (Univ. Arizona) and Oliver Nakoinz (Univ. Kiel) will offer two perspectives on the modeling of relational systems in archeological contexts.
Indeed, modeling interactions and the links they form across space may bring new insights into past large-scale social phenomena, such as social hierarchies or migrations.
