This meeting will bring together experts in the areas of machine learning, human computer interaction, visual analytics, databases, and cognitive science to discuss and explore the research challenge of explainable ML. We posit that the next generation of interpretable machine learning technologies will come from multi-disciplinary research at the intersection of these domains.
